Q. Have you always liked writing?
A. Only when I could creatively write. I absolutely hate essays, which is what most of my current English (College Prep) class is comprized of.
Q. Do you like using big words in your writing?
A. Occasionally when I over use a word I feel like I should start using bigger words, so I head over to dictionary.com, go to the thesaurus, and type in the word I'm using to get a whole array of new words to use that mean the same thing, and thats how I often use big words in my writing. Other than that I like to keep it pretty simple.-_-
Q. Do you ever get writer's block?
A. Eh, who doesn't. It's not really that I can't think of anything though. I'm always beaming with ideas. It's just a matter of picking the right idea to fit my current place in the story.
Q. You do seem to have an array of ideas. Many of your stories, though mostly romance, are all unique in their own way. How do you come up with the ideas for your stories?
A. Most of my inspiration comes from dreams and just plain daydreaming. In fact, Saeron's Temple is based on a dream I had one night that really stuck with me. Dreams, to me, seem so real, and I like to make them come alive.
Besides dreams I love mythology and ancient lore. That's where I came up with a lot of the stuff for Kitsune and Kirin.
Q. In Saeron's Temple Saeron often goes into the jungle. Does he just go in there because you have no where else to put him in the story or does this actually serve a purpose later in the story?
A. Actually this serves a big purpose in the story that will be revealed very soon within the next few chapters if all goes well. It involves a great complication that probably no one would be able to guess, especially not Dante who, as you've already noticed, is totally clueless in most aspects of the story.
Q. Will Dante ever see her family again?
A. Perhaps.
Q. What color is Saeron again? And what type of tiger is he? (Too many details to remember.)
A. Lol, Saeron is a rare melanistic tiger. A breed that is the complete opposite of a white tiger. Unlike albino tigers a melanistic or black tiger has an incredibly strong immune system. Actually, considering the white stripes and orange in his fur Saeron would be most likely considered a Pseudo-melanistic tiger which is where the black is lined over a lighter surface. But enough about Saeron, on to the next question.
Q. Are there other's like Saeron?
A. Well he did say he was the last of his kind, at least the nameless stranger who we believe to be Saeron said that. What do you think?
Q. I'm fat, can you help me?
A. Next question, please.
Q. What happened to Taj?
A. Taj's fate will be revealed in due time. No he did not die, if thats what your thinking. He did disappear though.
Q. Do you like math?
A. No I hate it! What kinda question is that?
Q. If you could create a soundtrack to Saeron's Temple what songs would you add?
A. I've actually thought about this one. I'd definately love to have a song by E.S. Postumus called Nara. That would probably be for the trailer. And then the story itself would probably be the Guild Wars soundtrack. Yes, I've revealed it! I'm a guild wars lover!
Q. Has Guild Wars influenced your writing in any way?
A. Just when I listen to the soundtrack. For some reason songs tend to give me good ideas. I guess I could add that to my list of things that inspire me.
Q. How did you come up with the title Saeron's Temple? How do you come up with the names in your stories?
A. I got hooked on a movie called Pan's Labyrinth. I didn't actually watch it till yesterday (Sunday), but I knew it was gonna be good when I saw bits and pieces of it and I thought to myself, "wouldn't it be nice to just give people a nice simple name to remember my story by?" So I thought of my characters name, which by now has been something I've been very good at, naming characters that is, and I thought of the setting (the temple) and there ya have it Saeron's Temple. As for names? Saeron was a name I made up off the top of my head and I must say I really do like it. And then there was Dante. I often heard that name, whether it was in shows (Full Metal Alchemist) or in history books (Italians) and so I decided to name my main character that.
Q. Do you personally like Saeron's Temple?
A. Psh! Yeah I guess. When I first started it I actually really liked it, and I still do, it's just sometimes I feel as though I'm rushing through some chapters. I wanna get all my ideas down while I have em' and not go through several intervals before a chapter is done so I can create the way I want it to be, but sometimes chapters don't feel right due to what little time I have, so I may go in later (definitely if I ever decide to publish the book) and edit chapters to make them more pleasurable to read.
